The Helen Schuler Nature Centre project consisted of a renovation and expansion to the existing nature learning centre facility in the heart of the Lethbridge Nature Preserve. The expansion encompasses an additional 5,381 SF of space, improving working conditions for staff and volunteers, meeting increasing public demand, and allowing for future programming opportunities. The overall renovation project allowed for the modernization of the facility, enhancing services and improving accessibility and sustainability features and practices. Through the addition and upgrades to the existing space, the facility is able to accommodate larger tour groups and also has increased office and storage capacity. Added gallery space allows for future growth of the cultural sector, providing much needed space for the display of traveling science and technology exhibits.
