Construction Management
We find that the Construction Management format can be an optimum delivery method for many of our clients. Typically, the client retains the architect and engages Dawson Wallace early in the design process, allowing us to contribute meaningful input on constructability, cost, and scheduling. From the preliminary design phase through tendering and construction, we act as a trusted partner—managing the process collaboratively, maintaining transparency, and ensuring every decision supports the project’s goals for quality, value, and efficiency.
Design Build
Under the Design-Build format, Dawson Wallace serves as a single point of responsibility for both design and construction. Working from initial concept plans and performance requirements, we assemble and lead the design team to develop the drawings and specifications that bring the client’s vision to life. This integrated approach streamlines communication, accelerates schedules, and optimizes value—ensuring design intent, cost, and constructability remain aligned from concept through completion.
General Contracting
Dawson Wallace provides General Contracting services throughout Western Canada under the conventional stipulated sum tender format. Working from a complete set of drawings and specifications, we manage all subcontractors, suppliers, and site operations to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. Our role encompasses full oversight of construction activities, including cost control, scheduling, quality assurance, bonding, commissioning, and turnover.
