Pratts Food Service Ph. I & II

Dawson Wallace was awarded the Design-Build contracts for both phases of expansion at Pratts Food in Rocky View County. Phase I involved a 40,000 SF industrial freezer storage addition to Western Canada’s largest family-run independent foodservice distributor, incorporating all associated refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems into the existing design. The work also included removals, remediation, and replacement of site grades, utilities, asphalt, exterior concrete aprons and sidewalks, and landscaping. Following the successful completion of Phase I, Dawson Wallace was awarded Phase II — a second Design-Build project adding 34,000 SF of frozen storage, 31,000 SF of ambient storage, provisions for a future freezer, new cold dock loading, and a raised mezzanine — further expanding Pratts’ distribution capacity and operational efficiency.
