West Hillhurst Arena Renovations

The West Hillhurst Arena project involved the abatement and demolition of the previous arena space, which was replaced with a new refrigerated structural slab. Additionally, all associated boards, bleachers, and related equipment were removed and replaced. The mechanical systems were also overhauled to compliment the new rink and new low-E ceiling installed. Also included in the scope was the reinforcement of superstructure of the building, which was executed in-situ to prolong building longevity. Of significant importance was the coordination of the re-roofing of the building, which was completed in phases through the winter months to ensure that scheduling targets could be maintained.
