Construction Management
We have found the Construction Management format to be the optimum delivery format for our clients. The client most often retains the architect and engages our service at the preliminary design phase. We then are able to participate in the logic plan for the project, provide input to the design team on constructability and cost, and develop and maintain an overall design and construction schedule. Once the design is complete we issue the documents to trades and suppliers for tender and submit a lump sum project cost.
Design Build
Under the Design Build format we provide a lump sum quote to design and construct the project based on a set of sketch plans and outline specifications. We retain the design team to complete the final working drawings and specifications to meet the client’s expectations. Upon approval we then complete the construction of the project similar to the general contracting format.
General Contracting
Dawson Wallace provides General Contracting services throughout Western Canada through the conventional lump sum tender process. Our responsibilities include managing all subcontractors, material supplies, project schedule, quality control, bonding, commissioning and turnover, in accordance with a prepared set of drawings and specifications.
