Dawson Wallace was selected by Alberta Health Service (AHS) to provide General Contracting services for the relocation of AHS’s existing medical lab facility within the Market Mall Professional building in Calgary, Alberta.
The project scope consisted of an extensive interior renovation to 4,400 sq.ft of existing space. The refreshed facility houses a large reception and waiting area, staff work space, administrative offices, lab space for testing, and new patient consultation rooms which feature a DIRTT demountable wall partition wall system.
Additionally, a new security system has been implemented, including use of card readers, security cameras and emergency call buttons. The patients’ rooms also feature a nurse call system which can alert the main reception.
