Haskayne Legacy Park

The Haskayne Legacy Park & Pavilion is located in the Calgary’s northwest section, neighbouring the community of Bearspaw, positioned in the County of Rockyview. This public amenity is comprised of an outdoor/indoor multi-purpose facility with an occupancy of around 50 people. Unique architectural features include weathered steel, wood deck ceiling, along with open glazing, exposed concrete, and a paving stone walkway. The Pavilion also includes washrooms, a decorative fireplace, storage, and a small office space covering approximately 2,420 SF, with a total site square footage of 68,864 SF. The project incorporated sustainable building initiatives, including a net zero target, along with a geothermal heating system.
