Lethbridge Materials Recovery Facility

The Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) is a 46,000 SF facility which serves to enhance the City of Lethbridge’s recycling program. The building is a pre-engineered structure with insulated metal panel cladding on the walls and roof. The facility features a clear span design, meaning there are no interior columns, and has a steel fibre reinforced slab. The building also has a loading dock component, large overhead doors and is equipped with hand sorting and machinery sorting equipment. There are elevated sorting cabins which are placed in conjunction with third party conveyor and baler systems. The facility also features an administrative office component, which comprises 8,500 SF of space.
