The Home Depot Stocking Distribution Centre (SDC) houses 640,000 sq.ft. of warehouse distribution space and 6,500 sq.ft. office space, while the Rapid Deployment Center, (RDC) houses 425,000 sq.ft. of warehouse distribution space, 80,000 sq.ft. of platform level mezzanine, and 6500 sf finished office, all enclosed by 36’ exterior precast panels and integrated with a fully automated conveyor distribution system.
The buildings are linked by a 4800 sq.ft. third “link” building. The sitework involved a net export of 325,000 m3 of clay, remediation due to wet failed bearing conditions of 120,000 m3, involved 6km of underground utilities, relocating overhead Enmax lines, 46 acres of paved surface and 260,000 sq.ft. of exterior concrete apron surfaces. The site was landscaped, irrigated, and fenced.
